Dear Principal Roeschel,
Thank you for your welcome Holiday and New Year’s greetings! For me that period renews the appreciation of The One who gave the greatest gift of all. As the new school year gets underway I feel peace, love, health and joy as you have wished me!
On 22 January I, with a number of others, have been invited to the Beverly Hilton Hotel to receive a „Living Legends of Aviation Award,“ http://www.livinglegendsofaviation.org/, for 2016. This Award for me is solely due to children the ages of those, now in Our School. These are they who, through gratitude, declined to beg for chocolate in 1948-1949.
Those children changed my life. Those in your classes now can do the same for others. Attitude, gratitude, and service before self will put their footsteps on a similar path.
Your „take off“ on the New Year sounds smooth and purposeful. With all working together the landing will be the same!
In the year ahead I have the desire that each student will feel good for their efforts. That will determine, in good measure on whether or not they will take full advantage of their skilled „flight crew;“ your leadership team, the teachers and staff.
Please give all, especially the students, my gratitude, hope and genuine best greetings for the year!
